We are a family-oriented breeder of Alaskan Klee Kai, located in Southern California. We pride ourselves on producing show-quality dogs and have been doing so for the past 22 years. We’ve shown our dogs in conformation shows with UKC and ARBA all over the United States. We have produced multiple Best in Show Klee Kai, as well as competing in UKC’s Top Ten competition for several years. Desarie has served on the Board of Directors for UAKKA, was the Breed Club Presidents for UAKKA and participated in the show committee for both UAKKA and AKKAOA. Our dedication to the successful breeding of Klee Kai, both in our own facility as well as by other breeders, is second to none. We are extremely committed to this breed and our whole family is highly involved in raising the puppies to our considerable standards. We are grateful that our dogs are raised in a loving, caring environment by people who are devoted to their success.

Kika's Story

The story behind our name begins with the first Alaskan Klee Kai we ever saw. After watching this amazing dog and finding out about the breed, we knew we had to make a Klee Kai an addition to our family. After some searching, we found an amazing breeder named Andrea Hays, and after what seemed like forever (we were very eager) we were finally able to go and pick up Kika, our first Klee Kai, and bring her home in August 2003. Kika was a wonderful dog and is the reason we ultimately began breeding Klee Kai ourselves, so it seemed like a perfect name for our business.

Alaskan Klee Kai are very special dogs. We know them to be loving, humorous, creative, intelligent, spunky, and playful. We fell in love with this mini Husky breed in 2003 and we know that you will fall in love with them too. While Klee Kai look exactly like tiny Huskies or, as one blogger put it, “like tiny wolves with masks on”, they are very much their own unique breed and while they do share some traits with their larger cousins, they are quite amusing and entertaining in ways that are specific to their own breed.

After obsessing over these beautiful little huskies and reaching out to several different klee kai breeders. We finally found a wonderful breeder named Andrea Hays and after what seemed like forever, we finally brought Kika home in August 2003. Over the last 22 years we have shown our dogs in conformation shows with UKC and ARBA all over the United States. We have produced multiple Best in Show Klee Kai, competed in UKC's Top Ten competition in Michigan State for several years before taking some time off to focus on family and give birth to our youngest son. Desarie has previously served on the Board of Directors for UAKKA, served as the Breed Club President for UAKKA and was on the show committee for both UAKKA and AKKAOA.
